I would like to learn more about the images...Iain,

I would like to learn more about the images of Elizabeth Salome “Sallie” Myers displayed on this post. Specifically, I am interested to know if this portrait is part of your personal collection, and, if so, that you own the original print. If you do, I would like to make arrangements to receive a high-resolution scan and permissions to publish in my forthcoming book about Civil War nurses.

The volume will be the fifth in a series of micro-histories of the war. Each volume captures a larger narrative—Union soldiers, Confederates, African American participants, sailors and now nurses. The Johns Hopkins University Press has published all the books. You can learn more about them, and me, at facesofwar.com and facebook.com/ronaldscoddington.

Look forward to your reply.

Sincerely,
Ron Coddington
Arlington, VA
703-568-1616
rcoddington@facesofwar.com

Ron Coddingtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02992652795791713074noreply@blogger.com
